Cosmic Elevator

The earth is flat. We know this because it is.

Wouldn't that make gravity all wonky at the ends of the earth?

Don't be daft! There is no gravity. The earth merely accelerates upwards endlessly. That's what keeps us on the surface.

How could the earth be accelerating endlessly? What propels it?

The Elevator.

Yes, the cosmic elevator. It pushes the earth upwards and is tirelessly run by  subterraneans extracting the energy from the infinite turtles of the cosmos.

Turtles? You're making this up as you go along aren't you?

How else would you get enough power to run a space elevator for eternity?
